It is about time people started shooting back.

Self-preservation or murder? I am going to follow this case. For now I am fully supporting Jerome Ersland. With the facts I have read, Ersland should be free to go.  Here is a thought – the kid, Antwun Parker, should not have been there and he would be alive today. What if Ersland was shot and killed by these punks? Then it is just another old white guy getting shot by some kids. It is hard to take the NAACP seriously when they defend the actions of black youth in these situations. Fine young healthy boys cannot justify robbing someone, especially at gunpoint. Mrs. Cleta Jennings, your baby was a violent crook, who was apparently headed to death row anyway. You play, you pay.

Dick-tator

Read this now, all of it. This is what dictators do, folks. Terror-mongers like Rush Limbaugh support dictators in the USA. Any of you who voted for Bush in 2004 should be ashamed – you cannot defend the ex-president, or his puppetmaster Dick Cheney. The 2000 election was a coup (yes, as in coup d’etat), but 2004 was all on the voters (despite Ohio, it still should not have happened). Thankfully the USA has term limits to limit oppression to eight years, which is the only thing separating the States from Saddam’s Iraq or Kim Il Jong’s North Korea. It is never acceptable to suspend the Constitution, ever. If you don’t know your rights, learn them now. This is the United States of America, time to start acting like it.

Definitely un-American

A quick post about this recent article. At first glance you may think these terrorists don’t deserve any rights, so let ‘em rot. Sure, sounds reasonable, except how do you know they are really terrorists? Because the government said so? Imagine, if you will, being held in prison for almost seven years for no reason, and no access to your family or a lawyer or even the courts. If it can happen to them,  it could easily happen to you. “Nuh uh,  I have rights…” Yes, the right to remain silent or else. They can come into your home and take you away in the middle of the night, from your bed, from your family, from everything, and who would know? Do you really think these “terrorists” are any different from you other than their beliefs? The jack-booted thugs who take you away will also provide statements about you and your inescapable guilt. “Wait a minute, my lawyer will help me…” Not if he cannot get in to see you, especially if you are afr away in Guantanamo. It is not crazy or far-fetched, it happens everyday in America. Do not ever think for a minute that it can’t happen to you.

On another note, how about we legalize drugs (like alcohol), tax the living daylights out of their sale and distribution (like cigarettes, alcohol, and gas) and limit the quantity someone can possess on their person (like fish and game)? I make this suggestion because this is re-goddamndiculous. Just say no is not cutting it folks, nor is the war on drugs that has been raging for as long as I can remember (mid eighties or so). War never works, period. And any American gun dealer supplying these thugs needs to be shipped to Guantanomo, because they are the biggest threat to the Second Amendment, not the liberals. Sorry all of you hippies as well, but your pot is funding this industry as well unless you are growing your own. With that in mind, definitely buy local. Amen.

Here’s looking at you

In Texas, everything is super-sized. Even the threshold for crazy is extreme. For example, Andre Thomas killed three people in 2004 (two of them children). Nothing too weird about this course of action, just a murderer who needs to fry. Ah, but what if he removed their hearts? Interesting, but you are not crazy. Alright, what if after the killings, Andre stabbed himself and then turned himself into police? Well, that’s really nutso, but still not enough to win an evaluation. Okay, then I see your murder, organ removal, self-inflicted knife wound, and guilty plea, and I raise you… an eyeball. Seriously, that is crazy, but not Texas crazy. As quoted in the article, “people do desperate things out of fear of punishment, as much as they do it out of insanity.” Well, I know Texans are tough, and I also know at least one is an idiot, but I think they need to give this case some more consideration. The fear of punishment wasn’t enough for Andre to avoid killing three people, but it was enough for him to empty the old eye socket, with his own fingers no less? Ever try to remove your own eyeball (or any part of your body for that matter) just to get out of trouble? Me neither, and there’s an obvious reason. And the  Bible quote surely should have clinched it. Alas, sorry Andre, you’re crazy, but not crazy enough for Texas. Remember those kooks from the Alamo?

So, what does it take for you to be Texas crazy? After considering it for some years, Andre figured out the secret formula. You need three bodies, preferably one adult and two children, three hearts (can be from the same three bodies), a self-inflicted knife wound, turning yourself into police, one right eyeball removed with your own hands, one left eyeball also removed with your own hands, and the left eyeball must be consumed… by you. Seems a bit extreme to me, but that is exactly what it took for Andre Thomas to finally get someone to admit that yeah, he may be a Texas crazy. Congratulations Andre, we’ll see you in Texas Hell.
