No, not the dishes, the Asian country. It is important to be a conscientious human. This means taking a stand against injustice, even if just one injustice at a time. Better to do one something than nothing at all. There was a time when the good old U.S. of A. would rather be dead than Red, which meant no products from any communist countries. Heavens, we wouldn’t even allow the best cigars in the world in. Somehow, things changed. The U.S.A. decided it was better to be cheap than right, and Made in China destroyed this country. Meanwhile, the Chinese decided to destroy Tibet. Wait a minute… Tibet? Former home of the Dalai Lama? Monks and peace and tranquility? Of course, isn’t that the first rule of imperialism – attack those who cannot or will not fight back?
China is a human rights nightmare and anti-democracy. So why do we support them? Well, the U.S.A. owes them money. Enough for me thank you. Buy American, by Americans. And since that is nearly impossible, at least avoid Made in China, or as I call her – Maiden China, always red.
