They will find you…

This is a tough one, but I do believe rebellion is a good thing. When the hackers of the world waged an offensive against corporate control in response to the Wikileaks fiasco, I thought not such a bad thing. Freedom of speech is necessary and corporations that infringe should have some hardship. But know this – bite the hand that feeds, you will be disciplined. That is what a UConn student in Storrs, Connecticut found out. Of course the authorities went to the wrong house first, but that is to be expected. No one should be surprised that Big Brother can track you down anytime they want to. The real surprise is that the hacker was so easily caught. Viruses and spam hit my system all day everyday, but good luck calling that one in. “Your identity was stolen you say? Well here are some pay services you can hire to try and rebuild you life. Good luck, chump.” I am frustrated that they cannot stop the same clowns who send out viruses, hack personal information, or steal your identity, back can track down an anonymous guy in Storrs Connecticut within a month. Apparently there are different standards for people (your on your own, thanks for the tax dollars) and corporations (don’t worry, we’ll find them, and here are some subsidies).
