Self-preservation or murder? I am going to follow this case. For now I am fully supporting Jerome Ersland. With the facts I have read, Ersland should be free to go. Here is a thought – the kid, Antwun Parker, should not have been there and he would be alive today. What if Ersland was shot and killed by these punks? Then it is just another old white guy getting shot by some kids. It is hard to take the NAACP seriously when they defend the actions of black youth in these situations. Fine young healthy boys cannot justify robbing someone, especially at gunpoint. Mrs. Cleta Jennings, your baby was a violent crook, who was apparently headed to death row anyway. You play, you pay.

That’s… disturbing

I wonder how many times this happened pre-Industrial Revolution. Anyone have statistics on this? Of course there were abnormalities (Joseph Merrick, for example), but this is a complete abomination. There is so much to consider here, and hopefully there is video footage so we can see the true reactions of the veterinarians and owners when this polydactyl bovine makes an appearance. I imagine the mother is relieved… sort of. In the wild, sans human intervention, how does nature deal with this situation? Both mother and offspring probably expire during birth. I immediately think it is some sort of human experiment gone awry. Creepy sums it up for me. More so when someone decides to eat it up. Or how about Mary had a little… lamb? Moving on.

Jump already… or else.

I love this story. Despite my anti-China stance (see category labeled anti-China), I have to tip the old halo to Lai. Lai was “fed up with what he called the ’selfish activity’ of a potential jumper” so he shook the jumper’s hand and then pushed his whiny caboose off the bridge. Of course, Lai was arrested and will be sued by the spineless faller (if they allow that in China). But still, I bet it was worth it. Walk on, Lai, we’re holding a spot for you in the Hall of Heroes. Now get your donkey out of Tibet.
